Peekaboo Productions was founded and created by Emmie Haven, also known as “Peekaboo.” Peekaboo Productions is a platform that houses The Boo Review and Peekaboo’s creative portfolio. Peekaboo Productions aims to share creative thoughts and expressions with the world. With powerful short films and scripts, we hope to connect people around the world and give them a place where they can feel seen and heard. Peekaboo Productions is a place where history is told, and stories are held. Peekaboo Productions tells stories for those sitting alone in their rooms wishing to escape and be heard.

Hey everyone! My name is Emmie Haven, AKA “Peekaboo”! I am the founder of Peekaboo Productions and the one and only writer of The Boo Review. 

I am currently in high school and pursuing my associate’s degree through dual enrollment. I am Co-President of my school’s FBLA chapter and a member of TSA, competing at the State level in Digital Video Production. I also regularly volunteer at my local Community Resource Center and my local library. I started writing only 2 years ago, after realizing stories give us a reason to live. I now write articles for my school’s paper as its Senior Editor, write poems, write short-film scripts, and have founded my school’s film society club. 

I have an intense passion for storytelling, especially how stories can be told on screen. I love creating stories and hope to do so for the rest of my life. I love watching movies and television shows of any genre. My favorite movies at the moment are Dead Poets Society, Superman, and Lady Bird. My favorite television series include The CW’s The Flash and Heartstopper. My favorite director is Greta Gerwig; her films are phenomenal!

In the future, I hope to pursue film production and literature at university and eventually earn my master’s in Film Production. I hope to pursue a career in the film industry after graduation and become a screenwriter and director of my own feature films!
